Position Description

One of our clients, is looking for an Registered Nurse or LPN.

Location: Astoria, NY (Onsite)

Position Type: Contract

Job Summary

  • Client a leading medical practice in New York & New Jersey is seeking a self-driven and patient oriented Allergy Nurse for our Astoria office to join our dynamic team.
  • The Allergy Nurse role offers an opportunity to work with patients of all ages, encompassing a wide spectrum of care within our vibrant patient community.
  • We offer a supportive work environment aimed at promoting professional growth and teamwork amongst health care providers.

Responsibilities

  • Administer allergy injections and monitor patients
  • Perform allergy testing (food, environmental, venom, drug and chemical testing)
  • Conduct pulmonary function testing
  • Assist physician with patient care
  • Complete administrative responsibilities including insurance approvals, data entry, restocking clinical supplies
  • Respond to patient calls and messages

Requirements

  • Active RN or LPN License (New grads welcome to apply)
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Competent working with computers
