Position Description

Location: Rochester, NY

Salary: $20.00 USD Hourly - $25.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Travel RN- Operating Room in Rochester, NY!

Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)

Facility: Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, NY

Job Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks)

Schedule Type: Deferred Schedule

Shift: 12-hour Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Start Date: June 2, 2025

End Date: August 30, 2025

Compensation & Benefits

Overtime Pay:

Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)

On-Call: Yes (specifics to be discussed in the interview)

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care in a multi-specialty OR unit
Assist in vascular and cardiac procedures
Work with various surgical teams across multiple specialties
Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital protocols

Requirements

AHA BLS and Moderate Sedation certifications required
Experience in all service lines, including vascular and cardiac required
Must work one weekend shift per month
Expected to work every other holiday and weekend
Facility does not accept local RN candidates within 75 miles
