Salary: $30.00 USD Hourly - $38.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Travel RN- ICU in Utica, New York!

Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Facility: MVHS Inc., Utica, NY

Job Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks)

Schedule Type: Deferred Schedule

Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Start Date: June 2, 2025

End Date: August 31, 2025

Overtime Pay

• Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
• Weekly OT after 48 hours (based on multiplier)
  
  

On-Call: Not required

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in a 42-bed ICU unit
• Maintain patient ratios across Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma units
• Float to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Manage CRRT and Prismaflex treatments
• Prioritize heart experience for patient care
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (including SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU)
• Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Active NY RN License & all active RN licenses (NURSYS verification required)
• EMR Experience: EPIC required
• Up-to-date resume documenting travel experience
• Two recent ICU Charge/Manager RN references
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Driver’s license with matching demographic address

• Neuro/Med: Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI
• CTICU: CV Surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surgery
• Surg/Trauma: Trauma, Major post-op surgeries
