Position Description

Our clients, some of NYC’s most prestigious hospital and healthcare systems, currently have numerous openings for a SICU or MICU Registered Nurse at their locations in Manhattan. This is a great opportunity to join a team of experienced professionals within a large organization with plenty of room for growth, while surrounded by great leadership who will ensure your success in these roles!

These SICU/MICU Registered Nurse positions are 13-week contract roles offering $58-$65/hour and standard 3x12 day and night shifts. $3000 per week travel/stipend packages are available for travel candidates if relocation is required. $500 referral reward available for successfully placed referrals who work 100+ hours.

SICU/MICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage invasive lines and monitoring devices.
  • Assess patients for changes in condition and respond accordingly.
  • Administer medications and treatments, including titrating drips and managing artificial airways and ventilators.
  • Communicate with patients and families about their condition, explain procedures, and provide patient education.
  • Work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other nurses.

SICU/MICU Registered Nurse Requirements:

  • NYS Registered Nurse License
  • BLS/ACLS required
  • 2 years of ICU or Med Surg experience required
  • EMR - EPIC preferred
