Registered Nurse Step Down New

Job Title: RN - Stepdown

Location: Manhattan, NY 10029

Duration: 3+ months

Specialty: Stepdown

Schedule: Nights 3x12’s shifts / 7 PM - 7 AM – Every other weekend

Pay Range for locals: $56 - $60 per hour

Pay Range for travelers: $2000.00 - $2300.00 per week

Required & Preferred: 3 years of recent stepdown exp required

Education: Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing preferred. Associate degree in nursing is considered only with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN Program

Certifications & Licenses: NYS RN License & BLS

Preferred Certifications & Licensure: ACLS-AHA, PALS

Responsibilities:

Assesses and evaluates patient care needs and applies critical thinking skills in patient care management.

Integrates relevant assessment and intervention skills in the delivery of nursing care.

Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

Prioritizes all aspects of patient care including teaching, rounding, coaching, and planning “after hospital care” and delegating to others as appropriate.
